The bedside commode is a portable toilet that does not require running water. The reinforced toilet frame features a seat, lid, and removable pail for easy cleaning. Bedside commodes are typically available in three forms, Drop-Arm, Bariatric, and a 3-in-1 model. The "Drop-Arm Commode" enables patient transfer to and from the commode by easily lowering one of the arm rests. The "Bariatric Commode" can support up to 400 lbs of weight and features a wider seat.
